The most audacious dare…revealing more of you.

Take a moment to think about what your story is.  Not just the story of who you say you are, but the story of who you think you are.  The story of you that watches you, critiques you, even belittles you at times.

Your mind is either supporting you to live your own story or someone else’s and your mind is so deceptive that it will be difficult for you to detect which story you are truly playing out in life.  Yet, there’s a simple way to find out if you are at least partially living someone else’s storyline, you’ll have an unmet desire.

Desires require you to be vulnerable and expose more of yourself than your ego and its roles will ever feel comfortable doing. So you unknowingly keep to a script of who you believe you are and what you are and are not able to have in this life.  These stories then become your reality.

While I would like to share that I am done doing that to myself, it’s not true.  After decades of working on myself emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually, the truth is my ego can still take over and seduce me into living a story that isn’t mine.  That story is always safer in the short-term but causes more pain in the long-term, exactly because that story conveniently supports me to avoid revealing more of my truth.

What has finally set in for me is precisely how perfect the ego’s takeovers are for the next part of the life journey that you are about to embark on.

It is absolutely miraculous that we have emotions to awaken us from our unconscious narratives and ego manipulations. Your feelings are always there by your side, nudging you to choose yourself over and over again, whether that is toward your emotional wellness, your mental health, your career, your physical health, or your relationships.

The answer your emotions will lead you to, if you allow them, is to reveal more and more of yourself and your self-worth.  By revealing yourself both internally and externally, you are creating a life that uniquely fulfills you.

Your ego’s trickery is simply the next element of fear you are being asked to overcome to create a life that fits you more and more perfectly.

My life has been an experience of doing really well walking my talk and then forgetting again. This ebb and flow has provided me with both compassion and insight into the almost undetectable ways we can lose ourselves to a storyline and how to resurrect ourselves from those self-imposed limitations.

I’ve found that our desires and emotions work hand-in-hand to support us in revealing more of ourselves, which leads to living more fully and freely.

If you are not yet a part of my community, I invite you to connect by signing up for my newsletter, as I will be divulging more in the weeks ahead filled with potent truth-telling!

In doing so, I hope we find ourselves kindred spirits traveling together and that the places I’ve been called to reveal will support you in creating the story of the life you were born to be living as well.

With warmth and compassion for your past, present, and future revelations,

Michelle

PS: In the spirit of revealing, this happened…my 25th wedding anniversary! After my husband and I renewed our vows in our backyard, my amazing husband surprised me by renting out a movie theater so that we could privately watch our favorite movie, The Notebook, on the big screen.  For those who don’t know our story, my husband was supposed to be my rebound, as we met 3 weeks after I ended an engagement to someone else.  The breakup was a breakthrough to being clear on the type of person I wanted in my life and I am so incredibly grateful that after all these years, he continues to be my biggest blessing.  Trust in your heart and life, as you are always being guided toward greater love!
